We fall more and more in love with this beautiful girl every day. We have loved getting to know her sweet spirit over the last eight weeks and are so excited to watch her grow and develop. She is such a special girl. She loves to be wrapped up tight to go to bed:
Unfortunately, Grace had a little bit of a cold this week. Luckily, she hasn't had a fever, just a stuffy nose and runny eyes. It's so sad to see our baby get sick, and it's made us a little paranoid because she's so little! But, after calling the doctor we felt a bit better and have been running the humidifier non stop in her room. Amazingly, she has been so happy this week, despite not feeling so good. She gets more and more animated and smiley everyday, it is so much fun to watch her smile and giggle and coo. We're pretty convinced she's the most adorable baby ever.
We have been thinking about you two lately. (Don't know if LeighAnn reads this or not.) Because of the courageous decisions you made individually and together, we have the blessing of having this beautiful girl in our lives forever. I don't know if there are enough words to express the gratitude and joy in our hearts for that. But, we just wanted to let you know again, as I'm sure we will many more times, that we feel so privileged to be Grace's parents.
